Building Access & Vendor Delivery
Contractor and Vendor AccessAll vendors and contractors are required to have a certificate of insurance on file in the Office of the Building before the Building Access Request can be accepted. The Citigroup Center Chief Engineer must first approve all construction, painting, or any type of remodeling. The Office of the Building will provide you with a list of approved contractors upon request.
Certificates of InsuranceThe ownership and management of Citigroup require evidence of the following before work or deliveries can be made by a vendor or contractor. Certificate of liability insurance will be required for each and every service vendor. Proof of insurance must be delivered to the Citigroup Center office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date and time. Without a certificate of insurance on file, access to the premises will not be granted to any vendor for any type of delivery or job.
The Building Owners must be specifically listed as Additional Insured as follows: 444 South Flower Street, LLC Please click here to view sample certificates.
Loading DockThe building's loading dock entrance is located on Fifth Street. All deliveries must be made through the loading dock. During normal business hours (6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday and 7:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday) the dock is open on a first-come, first-served basis. A 20 minute loading/unloading time limit is enforced because there are a limited number of parking spaces. Deliveries that require longer than 20 minutes must be scheduled for after-hours in advance via a Building Access form. Upon arrival at the dock, the vendor must sign in with the loading dock security officer. The officer issues a visitor badge, and the vendor must leave a driver's license with Security until the delivery is completed. The officer will check a list to determine whether the vendor company has a current certificate of insurance on file with the Office of the Building. Vendor companies that do not have a current certificate of insurance on file with the Office of the Building will not be allowed to make deliveries or perform work in the building. Upon leaving, the vendor will be required to sign out, return the visitor badge, and receive back the driver's license. The loading dock does not accommodate large trucks. Trucks that exceed the dimensions below will not be allowed access. Please inform your vendors of these restrictions: height 13'6", width 11'6", length 18'.
DeliveriesPassenger elevators are designed solely and exclusively for transporting tenants and their guests. For this reason, all deliveries are restricted to the freight elevator via the loading dock. Due to liabilities for ownership and management, and at the clear direction of the Los Angeles Fire Department, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES OR EXCEPTIONS are wood pallets or pallet jacks allowed on any tenant floor. Any wood pallets will not be allowed to pass the demarcation point in the loading dock as signage indicates.
Freight ElevatorsCitigroup Center has two (2) freight elevators which are operated by a security officer on an unreserved, first-come, first-served basis during normal business hours.
