Cerritos offers businesses a strategic location. Cerritos offers a streamlined permit process and is dedicated to strategic planning and high-quality development standards. They have added three business-oriented planning zones that promote appropriate land uses and encourage the highest quality of design and environment within the designated areas. They are also a no-or-low property tax city. Cerritos was named a finalist in 2007.
